Here at Vector Group Charitable Trust, our mission is deeply rooted in our community. We believe that true resilience starts with the soil beneath our feet and the food on our tables. That’s why we’re excited to announce a new initiative focused on strengthening our local kai resilience and food security by expanding our planting projects.

We are currently seeking to purchase a bulk amount of pineapple plants, specifically the well-loved Cayenne and Queens varieties. We’re looking to acquire a minimum of 1000 plants, which will be a key addition to our community gardens, providing a sustainable and nutritious food source for those in need.

As a charitable trust, we are always looking for ways to maximize our impact and ensure every dollar goes further. We are reaching out to sustainable growers and suppliers who might be interested in partnering with us, offering donations, or providing us with these plants at a reasonable price. This isn’t just a transaction; it’s an opportunity to join us in a shared commitment to a healthier, more secure future for our community.

If you are a grower or know someone who could help us on this journey, we invite you to get in touch. Your support can help us grow more than just pineapples—it can help us grow a stronger, more resilient community.
