Cut flowers in Te Puke — Funky Foliage Gardens
Troppo is a food forest. Funky Foliage Gardens is a different kind of growing in the same town: cut flowers in rows at 43 No. 2 Road, Te Puke, run by Tony and Karen Hooper.
You Pick days
The farm opens booked sessions on Saturday morning, and on Friday and Saturday evening. You walk the rows for an hour and a half and pay $2 a stem for what you cut. Dates and the booking form are on their site, not here.

Bring shoes for the rows. It is a working farm, so there are bees. The farm tells anyone already booked if the weather or the amount of flower means a session should not go ahead.
