EPIC Mother’s Day Night Market Te Puke: A Night to Remember

What a wonderful Mother’s Day celebration we had tonight at the EPIC Mother’s Day Night Market! It was a truly special evening dedicated to all the amazing mums out there.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with everyone indulging in the delicious food on offer and browsing the diverse range of stalls. I spotted so many people finding what looked like perfect Mother’s Day gifts – there was definitely something for every mum!

But it wasn’t just about the shopping and food; the activities were a huge hit! The “Kidz Do Mum’s ’Do!” was absolutely hilarious, with kids getting creative styling their mums’ hair – there were some truly unique and memorable looks! The “Mum Knows Best?” Q&A had everyone laughing as kids revealed just how much (or how little!) they knew about their mums.

The “Tree Pose Showdown” was a fun, yoga-inspired contest, and it was impressive to see how long some people could hold their balance. “Handbag Bingo Bonanza” was definitely a laugh-out-loud challenge, with everyone curious to see what treasures (and maybe a few surprises!) were lurking in those handbags. The “Mum Makeover Magic” was another highlight, with kids unleashing their inner makeup artists to give their mums some truly glam (and sometimes hilariously goofy!) new looks.

The “Family Dance Floor Frenzy” was a joy to watch, with mums and kids teaming up and showing off their best moves on stage – there were some serious dance-offs happening! And the “Taste Test Challenge” was a fun way to experience the delicious offerings from our local foodies.

There was a real buzz of excitement throughout the evening with people eager to win the great prizes up for grabs. I hope everyone who entered the fun games had a blast – it was definitely first come, first served, and it looked like there was plenty of enthusiastic participation.

And of course, the anticipation was high for the announcement of the winner of the 2025 Mother’s Day Promotion! Congratulations to whoever that lucky person was!

Tonight was all about celebrating the incredible mums in our lives, and it truly felt like a special and memorable event filled with laughter, love, and fun for the whole whānau. It was definitely an evening you wouldn’t have wanted to miss!
